Medical Negligence Took Another Life in West Bengal | COVID 19

 

Ashok Sen Gupta, 79, a resident of Srirampur Municipality, Ward 6, Serampore Block, Hooghly District, suddenly fell ill on 17 August 2020. His family admitted him to Srirampur Walls (Subdivision) Government Hospital. He showed symptoms of COVID 19 and was taken to the isolation ward.

On 22 August, Ashok Sengupta was discharged without any treatment despite him being suffering from high blood pressure and diabetes for 35 years.
Unfortunately, he died on 30th of August.
